Nine-to-three drill for width and minimal wrist set
The instructor teaches a nine-to-three swing drill (a favorite of players like Tommy Fleetwood): swing your lead arm back to about nine o'clock and your trail arm through to three, keeping both arms fairly straight with barely any wrist set. The point is to preserve width and reduce the excess bend and hinge that force a rushed, last-instant recovery in the downswing. Practiced this way, the reduced backswing motion buys you more time and more consistent contact.
