Left-heel ball position only works with the right width
The coach pushes back on the common 'play the driver off your left heel' cue: where your left heel actually sits depends on your stance width. With a stance too narrow, the left heel is about where he'd play an eight iron; with the correct shoulder-referenced width, the left heel lines up with the lead shoulder, which he says lets the arm extend and the club present the loft it needs to get the driver airborne and buy time to square up.
