Use a rope to feel lag, pause and rhythm
Hanson uses a rope drill: swing up to the top and stop, letting the rope fall on your back, wait for the rope, then pause and get through the golf ball. He says for normal golfers the rope teaches lag and how the hands and wrists work, and for advanced players it supplies the sense of rhythm he considers essential under pressure.
