Chair drill to feel forearm max range
A seated drill to feel the forearm rotation that squares the face. With a slight side bend and tilt to the right, reach up and grab your right biceps to isolate the forearm, keep everything above the elbow still, then make a fist and rotate the forearm as far as it will go. The back of the hand turns toward the target, which he calls max range, the square position he wants to reach the same way every time.
