Read greens from the low side in three sections
The instructor reads break by looking from the side rather than behind the ball, standing at the point of an imagined triangle. He reads the putt in three sections, first third, middle, then the end, paying most attention to the end because as the ball slows it takes more break. He notes you see slope far more from the low side and side angle than from behind the ball.
