Putt backhanded to stop early release, level shoulders

The speaker teaches his juniors to putt backhanded from a young age rather than taking the wrists completely out of the stroke. In his view it stops any sort of early release through the ball and gets the left and right shoulders much more level. He considers it a better way to putt.
