Picture the trajectory into your landing spot

For a greenside shot, don't just pick a spot to land the ball — picture the trajectory the ball is on as it arrives at that spot. The coach explains that a ball arriving on too high a trajectory will stop dead, so when you need it to release up a slope you want it to arrive flatter so it still runs out a little after landing.
