Club down for a draw because the closed face de-lofts

For a draw, the instructor closes the club face, which de-lofts the club so the ball carries farther and runs more; she clubs down about half a club to a club and expects it to fly roughly seven yards longer than normal. She also warns that with the face closed through the swing and impact your body will notice and start compensating to open it up, so you have to keep telling yourself the face is supposed to be closed during the swing and at impact.
