Move the driver ball back to stop across-the-ball spin
With the driver, a ball position that's too far forward makes you swipe across the ball - hitting down and left with a cut - and catch the upper half of the ball, which adds spin. Moving the ball back in your stance lets you arrive at the right moment to hit up on it instead.
