Chip a fairway wood or hybrid like a putt

The instructor teaches chipping off the collar like a putting stroke: get a bit closer to the ball and flatten the hands and wrists, then make a simple back-and-forward motion. Don't take it too far back, because the ball flies quickly off the collar.
