Line-on-ball drill for square chip contact
A chipping practice drill: put a line on your golf ball (a triple-track) and aim the stripe at the hole. It gives you a visual for making the club attack straight and pop into the back of the ball. The feedback is built in - if you wipe across the ball and put left-to-right side spin on it, you will see the stripe spin away to the right.

- line the triple stripe up to the hole
- pop straight into the back of that golf ball
- if I wipe across it, I'll see that triple track spinning away to the right hand side
Why this context matters
Presented right after he wiped a chip and it drifted right off a muddy lie.
