Skip out of deep, fluffy sand with a full release
When more sand must be displaced, use less loft and a shallow release-three action that lays the club down and works the sand under the ball. Play the ball slightly inside the left heel and set the handle slightly back to add bounce. Hit the shot a little harder because the additional sand slows it down, while continuing to move the chest through the shot.

- Be super shallow with maximum release; this is release three, really lay it down
- Play the ball a touch further forward, just inside the left heel
- Set the handle slightly back to add more bounce and start with a little less loft
- Hit it a bit harder because there's lots of sand to slow it down, and keep the chest moving through
Why this context matters
For lots of soft/fluffy sand, the lie where nervous golfers leave the ball in the bunker.
