Diagnose ball flight by strike point, not path guesses

Off-center strikes can bend your ball flight and hide your real swing path, so you misdiagnose what your swing is doing. Ian's example: a player who swings in-to-out with a slightly closed face (a draw pattern) but strikes everything in the heel will see shots curve right and wrongly conclude he is 'over the top.' Read your ball flight together with your strike point before deciding what your swing is doing.
