Set the chip-and-run stance: ball, feet, shoulder
The instructor sets the stance with the heels one golf ball apart, the middle of the feet one club-head apart, and the toes two club-heads apart, then opens the lead (left) foot out. He then stacks the lead shoulder over the lead foot to create a strong pivot line.
