Feel a pull fade to stabilize the face
While working with this left-handed golfer, the coach has him set up and feel a pull fade: start the ball to the right and move it back left. He says the golfer's wristy top can let the club drop behind the hands and get inside coming down, leaving him dependent on turning the wrists over. The coach says that loses the angle of attack that strikes down on top of the ball, stabilizes the face, and compresses it.
