Match the PGA shoulder plane: 40 at top, 55 through

Craig Hanson shows how the shoulders work using a shoulder-plane line. Draw a line through the shoulders: at the top of the backswing it reads about 40 degrees, or points roughly one yard over the golf ball; halfway through the through-swing it reads about 55 degrees, or points about half a yard outside the ball. He calls this shoulder plane the motor and engine of the golf swing.
