Amyphi drill: one-handed tee swing for body-led chips
The 'Amyphi' drill: stick a tee in the butt end of the grip and make one-handed chip swings, keeping the lead armpit pinched so the arm never leaves the body. As the body turns back and through the hand follows; when the body stops the hand stops, but with a relaxed wrist the club head keeps releasing through. Keep the tee pointing at your belly button the whole time, then add the trail hand and let the body rotate.

- All you need is a tee and you're going to stick it in the butt end of your grip
- We're going to do one-handed swings (choke down if the club is too heavy for you)
- My armpit is pinched nicely here; it's never coming off the body
- Turn back and turn through — once the body stops turning, the hand stops
- Keep an eye on this tee: it needs to point at your belly button the whole time
- Once you get used to that, add your trail hand and really get that body rotating
