Use an eight iron for long 20 to 40 yard bunker shots

For a long greenside bunker shot of roughly 20 to 40 yards, the instructor uses an eight iron rather than a sand wedge or 52 degree, which he says you would have to hit too hard to reach that far. With the eight iron he can ease off the swing and get the roll needed to get it there.
