Keep the handle forward without turning cup into scoop

The coach distinguishes a cupped lead wrist from a scoop by the handle's position relative to the clubhead. Set the fingers back and drive the butt of the club toward the inside of the lead leg so the handle is ahead of the ball; the wrist can remain cupped as the club unhinges and releases around that forward handle. A scoop occurs when the butt moves toward the outside of the trail leg and the clubhead passes the handle.
