Check swing weight after fitting a bigger grip

The instructor says a common problem is golfers who, after being custom-fitted, switch to a bigger grip - going from standard to a mid-size or jumbo. Those grips are much heavier, which reduces the club's swing weight and makes it lose the feel it had when fitted, so it feels completely different. He adds that manufacturers often don't re-do the swing weight after fitting the heavier grip - they keep it standard with the heavy grip.
