On a sitting-down lie, get height instead of spin
When ridges or sand behind the ball limit spin, use height and landing angle to stop the shot instead. Open your alignment left to encourage a steeper delivery that squeezes more sand under the ball and pops it up. Use less body turn, get steeper, and dig the heel in a little more.
