Let arms hang to set the right distance from the ball
Getting the right distance from the ball controls how deep the club goes. Danny flags two faults: standing too bent over with the arms crumpled in, so that when the arms extend in the swing you dig into the ground and fat it; or sitting back and stretching for the ball, so you end up too far away at impact and top it. The fix is to let the arms hang beautifully relaxed, which sets the correct radius so the club just rests on the surface.
