Start on the impact plane to avoid shaft lift

The instructor says a conventional golfer's pelvis lift requires the shaft to rise about two to three inches approaching impact. In his single-plane model, starting on the impact plane and at the intended distance from the ball lets the club return on the same plane without lifting the hands, while the spine keeps its tilt and posture.
