Set the club by supporting it in your trail hand
The instructor says not to worry too much about how high or low the hands go or the exact elbow angle at the top of the backswing. Instead you need to be able to hold the club with the trail hand only, supporting it there. She contrasts holding the club up with the lead hand, which she says is tiring and makes the club feel heavy, with supporting it in the trail hand, which she says she can do all day.
