Play wet greenside rough with the toe and a high handle
Keep the shaft up fairly steep in the backswing but shallow the strike so you don't dig. Open the club and go toe-down with a very high handle, aiming left so the shaft works across the ball and the path goes left. Swing out and across with a partial release rather than steeply down, brushing the turf so the club won't get stuck.

- Open the club up and go toe down with a very high handle, aim left
- Get the shaft up nice and high in the backswing but swing out in front and across the ball
- Don't hit down so aggressively - just brush it a little bit more so it won't dig in
Why this context matters
Played with a 60-degree wedge from thick wet rough that swallowed the club on the practice swing.
