Open the face when you drop the handle, or it goes left

Dropping the handle is good, but the instructor warns you must offset it by opening the clubface. If you drop the handle without opening the face, the actual loft aims left and the shot can come out 10 to 15 feet left of the pin even when struck well. You have to be bold and open it up so the loft points at the target.
