Groove putting path with a line of tees
To promote a correct path in the putting stroke, the instructor suggests sticking a line of tees into the putting green and making sure the line is as straight as possible. Set up so the toe of the putter feels just slightly inside of the tees, about a quarter inch or so. As you make the stroke, the blade should feel like it works slightly inside the tees going back, strikes the ball in the sweet spot, and works slightly inside the tees again on the way through.
