Head-on-wall drill for divot after the ball

Contact fix framed as an at-home drill: good contact comes from keeping the lead (left) arm straight and keeping your head from moving off the ball. The coach explains that if the lead arm stays straight and the head stays in place through the swing, the club will always take its divot after the ball, giving a repeatable low point. To train it, set up with your head against a wall and swing without letting your head slide on the wall (up, down or side to side); all you need is your head, a wall, and your elbows staying together, and elbows-together itself helps keep the lead arm straight.

Why this context matters

Part of a wall-based home drill needing no clubs or balls; targets sway.
