Play the bunker ball position slightly back

For the greenside bunker shot the instructor plays the ball about one golf ball inside the lead heel, deliberately not too far forward, because too many golfers play it too far forward and take too much sand. He then opens the face to offset where the loft aims, since the hands are dropped nice and low.
