Brace against the ground instead of jumping for speed

The speaker argues that the common "ground forces" idea leads golfers to think they must push off or jump off the ground to hit the ball, and he says that is probably why they are having problems. His alternative is to set up with a wide stance (he is hitting a driver) and brace against the ground rather than jumping off it, so the upper body can produce speed. He frames bracing for stability as the fix, not pushing off the ground.
