Set your left eye directly over the golf ball

Aimee Cho's second putting setup key is ball position: get your left eye directly above the golf ball instead of inside it as you would for an iron. With your eyes inside the ball the putter swings on a bigger arc that is harder to square at impact, adding side spin; eyes over the ball let you stroke straighter back and forth for more square contact. To find it, set up with less knee bend, bend more from the hips, and drop a ball from your left eye to check that it lands on the ball.
