Ease thumb grip pressure in transition

The instructor cautions against increasing grip pressure in transition, because squeezing the grip with the thumbs creates lag and drag in the club. He prefers to feel the club held in the fingers at the back of the grip, with the thumbs only resting rather than pressing. The thumbs can look like they are on the grip but should not be squeezing.
