Putt with a wedge from thick rough
When a ball rests against thick rough with grass behind it, the instructor demonstrates 'putting' with a wedge (a 58 degrees here). She uses the leading edge - the blade part - hovering it above the ball rather than dropping it, and catches the top of the ball around 'two o'clock' so it rolls toward the hole. The stroke mimics a putt: hover the club, take it back, and let the club head swing through to control the distance.
