Snap the grip butt back to square and release the club
Once the club is in the slot, the instructor squares the face and releases without flipping the wrists: as the hands move toward the target he re-points the butt of the club (or the elbow) more toward or behind the body, which snaps the club back around the corner and squares the face. He explicitly does not want the club brought back to the ball using the wrists.
