The Porzak coach prefers landing greenside shots only a couple of feet onto the green - within three feet of the edge on every shot he can - rather than carrying the ball 10 feet up. He wants to avoid hitting the collar while not doing more than necessary to get the ball to the hole, letting it run out. A landing-zone strategy for chips around the green.
