Use a heavy-sand running lie for a back pin

A lie with lots of sand behind the ball can't be stopped and will run out a long way - the coach reads one as a 25-foot run-out lie. Instead of fighting it, match it to the pin: with a back pin and this lie, change nothing and let the lie push the ball forward. He treats such a lie as an advantage for a long shot rather than a problem.
