Break your putting stroke into stops on toilet paper

A slow putting drill: lay squares of toilet paper on the ground and break the stroke into stops. Start from the middle, go to the edge of the first two squares and full stop, then to the other edge for two full stops. Going slow and breaking it down lets you pay attention to four things: controlling the stroke size, teaching yourself rhythm (stop after one, then downswing and two), checking whether the putter face travels square along the toilet paper or wobbles, and checking whether the head stays within the toilet paper instead of making zigzags.
