Punch off a bad lie to guarantee ball-first strike

On a lie you don't like - here bare mud - don't play your normal swing. Take one more club (a punchy six instead of a full seven), grip down, and lean into it to punch the ball so you get into the lie and ensure a ball-first strike. Dan also cuts it and uses the wind.
