Keep the lead wrist cupped at the top with a strong grip
From a strong grip, forcing the lead wrist flat at the top makes a huge change in club-face angle: it delofts the club and points it low-left, producing low shots and hooks and making it hard to hit the ball high. To hit it straight and high, return to impact with the hands a little ahead, retaining some of that cupping rather than flattening the wrist.
