Set a lob like a bunker shot

Widen a stance that is too narrow to allow more turn. Keep the club face only a fraction open rather than opening it too much. Stand a little farther from the ball to get the hands low, and keep the chest moving through the ball.

Try it

  1. Widen the stance.
  2. Do not over-open the club face.
  3. Set the shaft angle in line with the back of the ball.
  4. Put the ball just inside your heel.
  5. Get your hands nice and low.
  6. Keep the chest moving through the ball.
  7. Drop the right foot back and swing from the inside.
  8. Miss the head cover coming down.
