For the driver the instructor keeps his setup pretty square but adds a little spine tilt to the right for a right-handed golfer, which lets him hit up on the ball. He says the more you hit up on it with a driver the less spin it has and the farther it goes, versus hitting down on it like an iron, which adds spin.
