Step on the clubface to read shaft loft for tree clearance
Amy Cho demonstrates a way to preview whether a lofted club will clear a tree: step on the clubface (carefully, so you don't damage it) so the shaft angles up, and the shaft then shows the loft of the face and roughly how high the ball will come off it. She notes that in her case it looks borderline, so if she doesn't hit it well she might clip the tree.
