Train the trail palm from sky to pre-impact
Start with the trail palm facing the sky and use the lead-hand fingers to hold the trail fingertips. As the hands move back, flex the trail fingers downward, preserve roughly a 90-degree trail-arm angle, and use the lead hand to push the trail hand into more external rotation; return toward pre-impact with the trail palm still back and the fingers flexed.
