Set weight forward and rotate for cleaner short-game strikes
For short-game shots, the coach diagnoses too much weight on the trail side (around 80% on the right), which sets the low point behind the ball and produces heavy or thin contact. The fix is to get more left, turn the lead foot out to create a pivot line through the left side, keep the hands quieter, feel more width, and rotate around that fixed point so the club works along the ground rather than up and down.
