Play the ball an inch ahead with a tiny forward press

The speaker played the ball one inch ahead of center, checking that with the grip in line with his zipper the ball sat one inch ahead. He then added a tiny forward press - bumping the club slightly over the ball - which let him hit slightly up into the ball naturally. He notes he is not a big forward-press guy.
