Keep the arms together in transition to stay in front
Keeping the arms and elbows closer together through transition makes it easier to get them back in front of the body on the way through. The coach explains that when the trail elbow widens out and gets behind, it forces the arm to throw; keeping the elbows together instead keeps things in front during transition, which he says directly affects the angle of attack and a constant path down.
