Look behind the ball to drop the trail shoulder

The coach describes turning the head to look at a spot about five to six inches behind the ball and keeping it there as the swing starts. Looking behind the ball this way promotes a bigger turn and, from the top, gets the trail shoulder to work underneath for control. Set your eyes on that spot behind the ball rather than staring at the ball itself.
