Fix the release to square the face and cure a slice
For a driver slice, the common denominator is a club face that is wide open at impact, which curves the ball right. Rather than chasing every faulty movement, the coach says the easiest fix is to work on the release so the face is more square at impact. Making the release the first priority also helps clean up the other faults like thrusting forward or spinning out.
