Use your second most lofted wedge, not always the 60

For the soft landing shot the instructor likes using maybe your second most lofted club rather than your highest. A 54 or 58 plays this shot well; a 60 or 62 is harder because you have to be amazing with your speed and the ball easily slips up the grooves. If you don't practice roughly every day, a little less loft is safer because the ball doesn't slip up the grooves as much.
