Play downhill lies with your most lofted wedge
The coach explains how to play a downhill greenside lie, which most golfers struggle with. He uses his most lofted wedge (a 60) because the ball comes off much quicker on a downhill lie and a lower-lofted club would fly off like a rocket. He sets his shoulders with the slope to get level with it, plays the ball back with plenty of shaft lean to keep the club moving downward and the leading edge down, adds a little hinge out of the rough, and swings down the slope.

- Use your lofty club, the 60, because the ball comes off much quicker than usual on a downhill lie
- Change your shoulders and go with the slope to get level with the slope
- Get that ball back and put a load of shaft lean in there
- Get the club going downward through the ball and keep the leading edge down
- Because it's a bit of rough there, hinge it a little bit, and then play down the slope
